AGU IE students do projects in almost every course. The aim of the projects is to provide the practice of the theoretical education given in the courses.
Below you can find the poster presentations of graduation projects of our students who graduated in 2018 and 2019.
Our students completed their graduation projects in 2019 at ASELSAN, THY, MIDDLE ANATOLIA, KAYSERİ TRANSPORTATION, STRYKER, and KEPSAŞ companies. Three of the graduation projects are supported by TÜBİTAK.
In 2019, Muhammet Mustafa Öztürk, Muhammet Batuhan Andıç, and Lütfiye Aykaç, carried out a project called "A Simulation and Optimization Study on Smart Filling Devices" in KAYSERİ TRANSPORTATION, improving the cost and customer satisfaction of the service provided to Kiosks on the Kayseri Public Transportation System. With the project, the company has reduced its costs. The project is a finalist in the Operations Research and Industrial Engineering (YA/EM) Student Projects competition (that is nationwide). In addition, they ranked 1st in the regional TUBITAK Student Research Projects competition.
In 2018, Şükrü Yasin Güven and Umut Yapır carried out the "Supplier Evaluation Process in the Defense Industry: Criteria Set Optimization" project at ASELSAN. This project is a finalist in the Operations Research and Industrial Engineering (YA/EM) Student Project Competition. In the competition, which will be held for the 38th time this year, the graduation project titled "Supplier Evaluation Process in Defense Industry: Criterion Set Optimization" conducted by AGU Industrial Engineering Department senior students Umut Yapır and Şükrü Yasin Güven was among the 8 finalists of the competition.
Our students also completed their graduation projects in 2018 at Turkcell, Ditaş and FNSS companies. Three of the graduation projects are supported by TUBITAK.
