In order to obtain a master's degree from the Industrial Engineering Department, graduate (MSc) students must;
a) take courses of at least 21 credits b) pass the Master's Thesis Defense Examination successfully c) take courses IE500 Graduate Seminar and GCC1001 Introduction to Scientific Research d) submit at least 1 article related to the Master of Science (MSc) study area for publication in a journal scanned with SCI index.
In order to apply for the doctoral qualification examination of the Industrial Engineering Department, graduate (Ph.D.) students must;
a) take courses of at least 21 credits b) take GCC1001 Introduction to Scientific Research c) submit at least 1 article related to the Ph.D. study area for publication in a journal scanned with SCI index.
In order to obtain a Ph.D. degree from the Industrial Engineering Department, graduate (Ph.D.) students must;
a) take courses of at least 21 credits b) pass the Ph.D. Thesis Defense Exam successfully c) take IE600 Doctoral Seminar and GCC1001 Introduction to Scientific Research d) has at least 1 article related to the Ph.D. study area published in a journal scanned with SCI index.

Compulsory Courses (4 Courses)
IE511 - Modeling and Optimization (Required for MSc and Ph.D. Program)
IE521 - Probability Theory (Required for MSc and Ph.D. Program)
IE534 - Risk Modeling, Assessment, and Management (Required for MSc and Ph.D. Program)
GCC1001 - Introduction to Scientific Research (Required for MSc and Ph.D. Program)
IE501 - Mathematics for Optimization (Required for Ph.D. Program)
Elective Courses (3 Courses)
Industrial Engineering Graduate Students are required to complete 3 elective courses successfully except for compulsory courses. These courses do not have to be courses in the Department of Industrial Engineering, they can also be selected from other departmental courses.
